Kerala Court Rejects Plea to Cancel Bail

A Kerala court has rejected the Special Investigation Team's (SIT) plea to cancel the bail of Jithin Bhaskaran, the prime accused in the Kafir screenshot case. Bhaskaran was granted bail on July 3. The prosecution argued that he violated bail conditions by posting messages on Facebook allegedly challenging the SIT. The court's decision means Bhaskaran will continue to remain out on bail.
