Hyderabad Police Chief Orders Action Against Auto Driver Using Two Phones, Headphones

Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar has ordered the traffic police to identify and take legal action against an autorickshaw driver seen using two mobile phones and wearing headphones while driving. A video shared on social media showed one phone displaying navigation and the other playing a movie, with the driver also wearing illuminated headphones. Sajjanar emphasized that using phones and headphones while driving any vehicle is dangerous and a punishable offense under the Motor Vehicles Act.

हैदराबाद के पुलिस कमिश्नर वी.सी. सज्जनार ने ट्रैफिक पुलिस को निर्देश दिया है कि ऐसे ऑटो-रिक्शा ड्राइवर की पहचान कर उसके खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाए जो गाड़ी चलाते समय दो मोबाइल फोन और हेडफोन का इस्तेमाल कर रहा था। सोशल मीडिया पर शेयर किए गए एक वीडियो में दिख रहा था कि एक फोन पर नेविगेशन चल रहा था और दूसरे पर फिल्म, जबकि ड्राइवर ने हेडफोन भी लगा रखे थे। सज्जनार ने जोर देकर कहा कि किसी भी वाहन को चलाते समय फोन और हेडफोन का इस्तेमाल खतरनाक है और मोटर वाहन अधिनियम के तहत दंडनीय अपराध है।
