SC Refuses To Examine Amit Shah's Discharge

The Supreme Court has stated there is no question of examining any challenge to Union Home Minister Amit Shah's discharge in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh and Tulsiram Prajapati encounter killings case. The court was hearing an appeal filed by Rubabuddin Sheikh, the brother of Sohrabuddin Sheikh. Rubabuddin Sheikh had challenged the Bombay High Court's decision to uphold the acquittal of 22 individuals accused in the case. The Supreme Court has sought responses from the CBI and the accused police personnel.
