Pakistan Cricket Board Delays Central Contracts Announcement Until End of Tri-Series

NDTV Sports · sports

Pakistani cricketers face a delay in receiving their central contracts, with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) postponing the announcement until after the ongoing ODI tri-series concludes later this month. The decision stems from the head coach and selectors' desire to thoroughly assess player performances before finalizing contract decisions. This approach aims to ensure that contracts are awarded based on current form and potential contributions to the team. The delay allows for a comprehensive evaluation, potentially impacting player rankings and financial agreements.
