CAG Flags Kochi Corporation Vehicle Waste

The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has flagged significant financial mismanagement by the Kochi Corporation concerning its vehicle fleet. Out of 143 vehicles, 72 had to be auctioned as unserviceable, while another 34 were off the roads due to poor maintenance. This highlights a substantial waste of public funds on vehicles that were not utilized effectively, impacting essential services.

कोच्चि कॉर्पोरेशन में गाड़ियों के रखरखाव में बड़ी गड़बड़ी सामने आई है। CAG की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, 143 गाड़ियों में से 72 कबाड़ हो गईं और उन्हें नीलाम करना पड़ा। वहीं, 34 गाड़ियां खराब रखरखाव की वजह से सड़क पर ही नहीं थीं। इससे जनता के पैसों की भारी बर्बादी हुई है और ज़रूरी सेवाओं पर भी असर पड़ा है।
