Mysuru MP Urges Early Nod for Proposed Science Centre

Mysuru MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar has requested Union Minister for Culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat to expedite approval for a proposed Science Centre in Mysuru. The facility, planned under the Scheme for Promotion of Culture of Science (SPoCS), aims to strengthen science education and provide interactive learning. The University of Mysore has already allocated seven acres for the project, with the State government committed to providing necessary infrastructure. A revised Detailed Project Report was submitted on January 5, 2026, excluding components not covered by current guidelines.
