Police in Kadapa district arrested two individuals on charges of smuggling red sandalwood logs. The arrests were made near Seethampeta village in Veeraballi mandal. Authorities seized eleven red sandalwood logs, a four-wheeler, and three mobile phones from the accused. The police are intensifying surveillance against illegal activities and warned of strict legal action against smugglers. They urged the public to report any suspicious activities in forest areas to aid in combating illegal transport of forest resources.

कडप्पा जिले की पुलिस ने लाल चंदन की लकड़ियों की तस्करी के आरोप में दो लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है। ये गिरफ्तारियां वीरबल्ली मंडल के सीतापेटा गांव के पास की गईं। पुलिस ने आरोपियों के पास से ग्यारह लाल चंदन की लकड़ियां, एक चार-पहिया वाहन और तीन मोबाइल फोन जब्त किए हैं। पुलिस अवैध गतिविधियों के खिलाफ निगरानी बढ़ा रही है और तस्करों के खिलाफ कड़ी कानूनी कार्रवाई की चेतावनी दी है। उन्होंने जनता से जंगल के इलाकों में किसी भी संदिग्ध गतिविधि की सूचना देने का आग्रह किया ताकि वन संसाधनों के अवैध परिवहन से निपटने में मदद मिल सके।
