Mysuru Minister Invites Royal Family to Dasara; Palace Entry Restricted on Select Days

Mysuru district in-charge Minister Yathindra Siddaramaiah has formally invited the royal family to participate in the Mysuru Dasara-2026 celebrations. The royal family has assured their full cooperation for the event. In view of last year's delays, the minister noted the royal family suggested restricting crowds where the golden ambari is mounted. Public and tourist entry to the Mysuru Palace will be temporarily restricted on select days in October and November for religious rituals. The sound-and-light programme will also be suspended during this period.

मैसूर के प्रभारी मंत्री यतींद्र सिद्धारमैया ने शाही परिवार को मैसूर दशहरा-2026 समारोह में भाग लेने के लिए औपचारिक निमंत्रण दिया है। शाही परिवार ने कार्यक्रम के लिए पूर्ण सहयोग का आश्वासन दिया है। पिछले साल की देरी को देखते हुए, मंत्री ने बताया कि शाही परिवार ने सुझाव दिया था कि जहां सोने का अंबारी लगाया जाता है, वहां भीड़ को प्रतिबंधित किया जाए। अक्टूबर और नवंबर में चुनिंदा दिनों में धार्मिक अनुष्ठानों के लिए मैसूर पैलेस में आम जनता और पर्यटकों का प्रवेश अस्थायी रूप से प्रतिबंधित रहेगा। इस अवधि के दौरान ध्वनि और प्रकाश कार्यक्रम भी निलंबित रहेगा।
