Indian Student Convicted of Murdering Woman Over Stolen Money in London

Indian student Deepak Sandhu, 24, has been convicted of murdering Xiaoqing Ke, 39, at a London Airbnb. The incident occurred after Ke confronted Sandhu over £500 he had stolen from her. Sandhu, who was in the UK on a student visa, had become obsessed with Ke and could not accept her rejection. He travelled from Southampton to London, committed the murder with a stab wound to her neck, and then attempted to flee the UK. Sandhu was also found guilty of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
