India's air transport output saw a significant contraction of nearly 14% in April, primarily driven by elevated fuel costs. This downturn contrasts with the overall resilience shown by the services sector, where fourteen out of nineteen sub-sectors recorded double-digit growth. Food and accommodation, retail trade, and telecom sectors demonstrated strong performance, indicating varied economic activity across different industries.
