Shubman Gill Joins Rohit Sharma in Elite Club with Multiple ODI Double Centuries

India captain Shubman Gill has become only the second batter in ODI history to score multiple double centuries, achieving the feat during the second ODI against West Indies. He reached this milestone during India's chase of 406 runs. Before Gill, only Rohit Sharma had achieved this, with three double centuries to his name. Gill's first double ton was against New Zealand in January 2023. In the same match, Rohit Sharma also completed his century and became the seventh batter to score 12,000 ODI runs.
