13 Crore Voter Deletions Alleged as Election 'Setting'
The Hindu · india
Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke accused the government of attempting to influence electoral outcomes by deleting over 13 crore voters. Addressing a press conference on October 15, 2026, he questioned if these deletions constituted an election 'setting', especially given the narrow 2% victory margins in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Dipke also alleged that extraordinary restrictions were imposed in Delhi to suppress protests demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. He stated that authorities were suppressing dissent regarding the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls.
