Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha has encouraged citizens to share their grievances without hesitation with women constables at police stations. She believes women constables can be seen as family members, making it easier for people to discuss sensitive issues like domestic violence. The minister spoke at a passing-out parade in Vizianagaram, where 473 women constables completed their nine-month training. Many of these new constables are highly educated, with a significant number holding graduate and postgraduate degrees.

आंध्र प्रदेश की गृह मंत्री वांगलापुडी अनिता ने नागरिकों को पुलिस स्टेशनों में महिला पुलिसकर्मियों के साथ बिना झिझक अपनी परेशानियां साझा करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया है। उनका मानना है कि महिला पुलिसकर्मियों को परिवार के सदस्यों की तरह देखा जा सकता है, जिससे घरेलू हिंसा जैसे संवेदनशील मुद्दों पर लोगों के लिए चर्चा करना आसान हो जाता है। मंत्री ने विजियानगरम में एक पासिंग-आउट परेड में यह बात कही, जहाँ 473 महिला पुलिसकर्मियों ने अपना नौ महीने का प्रशिक्षण पूरा किया। इनमें से कई नई महिला पुलिसकर्मी उच्च शिक्षित हैं, जिनमें बड़ी संख्या में स्नातक और स्नातकोत्तर डिग्री धारक शामिल हैं।
