Bihar CM Inaugurates Sasaram Bypass, Launches Water Conservation Drive

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary inaugurated the 9-km Sasaram bypass, built at a cost of Rs 122 crore, and other development projects worth over Rs 400 crore in Rohtas. He also launched the ‘Rohtas Jal Sanjeevani’ water conservation initiative and an astronomy laboratory. Addressing a gathering, Choudhary announced that Sasaram and Aurangabad are expected to receive Sone river water before March next year. The government aims to increase tourist footfall in Rohtas and surrounding areas from 50,000 to five lakh over five years.

बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री सम्राट चौधरी ने रोहतास में 122 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बने 9 किलोमीटर लंबे सासाराम बाईपास और 400 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की अन्य विकास परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन किया। उन्होंने 'रोहतास जल संजीवनी' जल संरक्षण पहल और एक खगोल विज्ञान प्रयोगशाला भी शुरू की। एक सभा को संबोधित करते हुए, चौधरी ने घोषणा की कि अगले साल मार्च से पहले सासाराम और औरंगाबाद में सोन नदी का पानी पहुंचने की उम्मीद है। सरकार का लक्ष्य पांच साल में रोहतास और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में पर्यटकों की संख्या को 50,000 से बढ़ाकर पांच लाख करना है।
