Delhi's Monsoon Plantation Drive Targets 6.62 Lakh Plants

Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is undertaking a significant monsoon plantation drive, aiming to plant 6.62 lakh plants across 675 parks and 4 ridge zones. The authority has already achieved nearly 30 per cent of its ambitious 23-lakh plantation target. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance tree protection and implement compensatory plantation measures throughout the national capital.

दिल्ली डेवलपमेंट अथॉरिटी (DDA) इस मानसून में बड़े पैमाने पर पौधे लगा रही है। उनका लक्ष्य 675 पार्कों और 4 रिज ज़ोन में कुल 6.62 लाख पौधे लगाना है। अथॉरिटी ने अपने 23 लाख पौधे लगाने के बड़े लक्ष्य का लगभग 30 प्रतिशत पहले ही पूरा कर लिया है। यह पहल राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में पेड़ों की सुरक्षा बढ़ाने और क्षतिपूर्ति वृक्षारोपण के उपायों को लागू करने के बड़े प्रयास का हिस्सा है।
