The Andhra Pradesh government has issued orders restoring the additional quantum of pension for retired State government employees aged 70 and 75 years. AP JAC Amaravati leaders welcomed the decision, thanking Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for acting on an assurance. Previously, pensioners aged 70 received an additional 10% and those aged 75 received 15%, which was reduced in 2022. This restoration resolves a long-pending demand of retired employees.
