Lucknow Police has introduced 'Sutrasarthi', a WhatsApp chatbot designed to enhance the collection and analysis of organised crime intelligence. Developed on an existing helpline number, the bot aims to convert citizen inputs into actionable intelligence by streamlining the reporting process. Citizens can report various organised crimes, including drug and human trafficking, through structured Google Forms after selecting categories via the chatbot. Officials believe this easier digital access will encourage more public participation in reporting criminal activities, enabling prompt action against organised criminal networks.

लखनऊ पुलिस ने 'सूत्रसारथी' नाम का एक व्हाट्सएप चैटबॉट लॉन्च किया है, जो संगठित अपराध की खुफिया जानकारी इकट्ठा करने और उसका विश्लेषण करने में मदद करेगा। यह बॉट एक मौजूदा हेल्पलाइन नंबर पर बनाया गया है और इसका मकसद रिपोर्टिंग प्रक्रिया को आसान बनाकर नागरिकों के इनपुट को कार्रवाई योग्य खुफिया जानकारी में बदलना है। नागरिक चैटबॉट के ज़रिए कैटेगरी चुनकर, ड्रग्स और मानव तस्करी सहित विभिन्न संगठित अपराधों की रिपोर्ट कर सकते हैं। अधिकारियों का मानना है कि इस आसान डिजिटल पहुँच से लोग अपराध की रिपोर्ट करने में ज़्यादा हिस्सा लेंगे, जिससे संगठित आपराधिक नेटवर्क के खिलाफ तुरंत कार्रवाई हो सकेगी।
