UAE Signals $25 Billion Investment Boost For India

The UAE has indicated plans to invest an additional $25 billion in India, aiming to reach a total of $100 billion in investments over time. This move follows recent investments of approximately $3 billion in RBL Bank and $1 billion in Sammaan Capital. Discussions between the two nations also focused on deepening cooperation in shipping, ports, and energy security, including strategic petroleum reserves and LNG supplies. Both countries are exploring increased use of local currencies, Rupees and Dirhams, for trade settlements.

यूएई ने भारत में अतिरिक्त 25 अरब डॉलर के निवेश की योजना का संकेत दिया है, जिसका लक्ष्य समय के साथ कुल निवेश 100 अरब डॉलर तक पहुंचाना है। यह कदम हाल ही में आरबीएल बैंक में लगभग 3 अरब डॉलर और सम्मन कैपिटल में 1 अरब डॉलर के निवेश के बाद आया है। दोनों देशों के बीच चर्चा में शिपिंग, बंदरगाहों और ऊर्जा सुरक्षा, जिसमें रणनीतिक पेट्रोलियम भंडार और एलएनजी आपूर्ति शामिल है, में सहयोग को गहरा करने पर भी ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया। दोनों देश व्यापार निपटान के लिए स्थानीय मुद्राओं, रुपये और दिरहम के बढ़ते उपयोग की खोज कर रहे हैं।
