ITC Acquires Yoga Bar For ₹645 Crore

FMCG major ITC has completed the acquisition of 100% of Sproutlife Foods, the parent company of healthy snacking brand Yoga Bar. The company bought the remaining 52.5% stake for approximately ₹645 crore, making Sproutlife a wholly owned subsidiary. This acquisition is part of ITC's strategy to expand its food portfolio with digital-first brands. Yoga Bar, founded in 2014, offers a range of healthy snacks and breakfast items. This move aligns with a broader trend of large FMCG companies acquiring digital-first brands.

एफएमसीजी कंपनी आईटीसी ने हेल्दी स्नैकिंग ब्रांड योगा बार की पैरेंट कंपनी Sproutlife Foods में 100% हिस्सेदारी का अधिग्रहण पूरा कर लिया है। कंपनी ने बाकी 52.5% हिस्सेदारी लगभग ₹645 करोड़ में खरीदी, जिससे Sproutlife पूरी तरह से आईटीसी की सहायक कंपनी बन गई। यह अधिग्रहण आईटीसी की डिजिटल-फर्स्ट ब्रांड्स के साथ अपने फ़ूड पोर्टफोलियो को बढ़ाने की रणनीति का हिस्सा है। 2014 में स्थापित योगा बार, हेल्दी स्नैक्स और ब्रेकफ़ास्ट आइटम्स की एक रेंज पेश करता है। यह कदम बड़ी एफएमसीजी कंपनियों द्वारा डिजिटल-फर्स्ट ब्रांड्स के अधिग्रहण के व्यापक चलन के अनुरूप है।
