Karwa Chauth Moon Sighting Delayed In Many Cities Due To Clouds

Aaj Tak · lifestyle

Women observing the Karwa Chauth fast for their husbands' long lives are eagerly awaiting the moon sighting. While the auspicious time has passed in many cities, clouds and poor weather are causing delays. In Delhi, the moon was expected around 8:17 PM, with similar timings in Noida and Gurugram. If the moon remains hidden, some traditions suggest women can worship a moon shape made of flour. The estimated timings are based on almanacs but can vary due to local weather conditions.
