भोपाल पुलिस ने अगले दो महीनों के लिए तीन लोकप्रिय धरना स्थलों पर धरने, प्रदर्शन और पुतला जलाने पर रोक लगा दी है। भारतीय नागरिक सुरक्षा संहिता के तहत जारी आदेश में पॉलीटेक्निक स्क्वायर, आकाशवाणी स्क्वायर और कीलॉल पार्क स्क्वायर को प्रतिबंधित क्षेत्र घोषित किया गया है। पुलिस ने यातायात में बाधा, जनता को असुविधा और आपातकालीन सेवाओं में संभावित देरी को प्रतिबंध का कारण बताया है। यह आदेश दो महीने तक प्रभावी रहेगा और उल्लंघन करने वालों पर कार्रवाई की जाएगी। विपक्षी नेताओं ने सरकार पर असहमति को दबाने का आरोप लगाया है।
