Shreyas Iyer achieved his maiden T20I century, scoring an unbeaten 102 off 43 balls to lead India to victory against West Indies. This remarkable performance came just three days after he and other Asian Games gold medalists returned from Japan. Despite the hectic travel schedule, Iyer adapted quickly, focusing on his batting and finishing the game for India. He admitted to feeling sleepy post-match, highlighting the demanding turnaround between international commitments. Debutant Naman Dhir also impressed with three wickets.
