A 28-year-old woman, Muskan Simolia, was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a hotel room in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, approximately three months after her wedding. Her father has accused her husband, Nilesh, of murder, alleging he was harassing her over his prior marriage. Muskan had come to her parental home to prepare for a Railway Junior Engineer exam. Nilesh reportedly took her to a hotel instead of her aunt's house, and the next morning she was found dead in the district hospital.
