Samastha President Criticizes Kerala Waqf Board Reorganisation Without Consultation

Samastha president Jifri Muthukoya Thangal has expressed displeasure over the recent reorganisation of the Kerala State Waqf Board, stating the government did not consult Samastha. He was unaware that an expelled member, M P Mustafal Faizy, had been included in the board. Thangal confirmed there is no disagreement regarding Mayin Haji's appointment as chairperson, expressing confidence in his impartial leadership. Samastha typically offers opinions on board appointments only when specifically asked for recommendations.

समस्थ के अध्यक्ष जिफ्री मुथुकोया थंगल ने केरल राज्य वक्फ बोर्ड के हालिया पुनर्गठन पर अपनी नाराज़गी ज़ाहिर की है। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार ने समस्थ से सलाह नहीं ली। उन्हें इस बात की जानकारी नहीं थी कि निष्कासित सदस्य एम पी मुस्तफा फैजी को बोर्ड में शामिल किया गया है। थंगल ने पुष्टि की कि मायन हाजी की अध्यक्ष के तौर पर नियुक्ति को लेकर कोई असहमति नहीं है और उन्हें उनके निष्पक्ष नेतृत्व पर भरोसा है। समस्थ आमतौर पर बोर्ड की नियुक्तियों पर अपनी राय तभी देती है जब सिफारिशों के लिए विशेष रूप से पूछा जाता है।
