MPSC Exam Format Change Demanded By Students

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis informed the state cabinet about a strong demand to shift MPSC exams from descriptive to objective format. A committee headed by ACS V Radha is reviewing this. The state currently has around 70,000 vacant posts, with 1.2 lakh filled in the last two years. The government will consider student demands based on the V Radha Committee's recommendations, potentially changing the exam pattern adopted from the Dalvi Committee.

महाराष्ट्र के सीएम देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने कैबिनेट को बताया कि MPSC परीक्षा को वर्णनात्मक से वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रारूप में बदलने की ज़ोरदार मांग है। ACS V Radha की अध्यक्षता वाली एक समिति इसकी समीक्षा कर रही है। राज्य में करीब 70,000 पद खाली हैं, जबकि पिछले दो सालों में 1.2 लाख भरे गए। सरकार V Radha समिति की सिफारिशों के आधार पर छात्रों की मांगों पर विचार करेगी, जिससे संभवतः Dalvi समिति से अपनाई गई परीक्षा पद्धति बदल सकती है।
