Odisha's state government has increased the annual clothing allowance for anganwadi workers and helpers from Rs 1,390 to Rs 1,500. A new digital system, DIPTI, has also been launched to directly manage and track electricity bills for anganwadi centres. This initiative aims to reduce administrative burdens on workers, allowing them to focus more on nutrition and early childhood development. The changes were announced during the 'Angan Ka Utsav' campaign, which promotes community participation in health and development programs.
