आंध्र प्रदेश ने PMAY-NTR नगरों में लगभग 11 लाख खाली पड़े घर की साइटों के मुद्दे को सुलझाने के लिए तीन-सदस्यीय कैबिनेट उप-समिति का गठन किया है। यह समिति इन अप्रयुक्त भूखंडों का उपयोग करने के तरीकों का पता लगाएगी, जिसमें भूखंड का आकार, बुनियादी ढांचे की कमी और लाभार्थियों की ज़रूरतें जैसे मुद्दे शामिल होंगे। यह भूखंडों को मिलाने, पंजीकरण रद्द करने और घर की साइटों की तलाश कर रहे लगभग दो लाख व्यक्तियों के आवेदनों को निपटाने की भी समीक्षा करेगी। सरकार का लक्ष्य यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि कल्याणकारी योजनाएं ठोस लाभ पहुंचाएं, और समिति को 45 दिनों के भीतर समाधान प्रस्तुत करने का काम सौंपा गया है।
