This figure is approaching the total of 3,716 challans issued throughout 2025, which was the highest since 2022. Enforcement was suspended in March 2020 due to Covid-19, with challans resuming in 2022. The majority of this year's violations were detected from May onwards, with police increasing checkpoints and conducting special weekend drives.
