Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has transferred ₹1,237.48 crore to over 1.8 crore beneficiaries under the social security pension scheme. The disbursement, amounting to ₹1,100 per person for September 2026, included the elderly, persons with disabilities, and widows. The government observes the 10th of every month as Bihar Pension Day to ensure timely and transparent disbursement. Choudhary urged officials to ensure no eligible beneficiary is left out and emphasized the government's commitment to the dignity and social security of marginalized sections.

बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री सम्राट चौधरी ने सामाजिक सुरक्षा पेंशन योजना के तहत 1.8 करोड़ से ज़्यादा लाभार्थियों के लिए ₹1,237.48 करोड़ जारी किए हैं। सितंबर 2026 के लिए ₹1,100 प्रति व्यक्ति की यह राशि बुजुर्गों, दिव्यांगजनों और विधवाओं के लिए थी। सरकार हर महीने की 10 तारीख को बिहार पेंशन दिवस के रूप में मनाती है ताकि समय पर और पारदर्शी तरीके से भुगतान सुनिश्चित हो सके। चौधरी ने अधिकारियों से कहा कि कोई भी योग्य लाभार्थी छूटे नहीं और उन्होंने समाज के कमज़ोर वर्गों की गरिमा और सामाजिक सुरक्षा के प्रति सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता पर ज़ोर दिया।
