East Singhbhum Administration Forms Panel To Identify Parking Spaces Near Puja Pandals

The East Singhbhum administration has formed a committee to identify additional parking spaces near major Durga Puja pandals to ease traffic congestion during the festival. Deputy commissioner Rajiv Ranjan constituted the panel after inspecting pandals and realising the need for more parking. The committee will explore using vacant private plots, government premises, and other available land as temporary parking zones. It will submit its report by Monday evening, with officials also planning an anti-encroachment drive on roads leading to pandals.

पूर्वी सिंहभूम प्रशासन ने दुर्गा पूजा के दौरान यातायात जाम को कम करने के लिए प्रमुख दुर्गा पूजा पंडालों के पास अतिरिक्त पार्किंग स्थलों की पहचान करने के लिए एक समिति का गठन किया है। उपायुक्त राजीव रंजन ने पंडालों का निरीक्षण करने और अधिक पार्किंग की आवश्यकता को महसूस करने के बाद पैनल का गठन किया। समिति अस्थायी पार्किंग क्षेत्रों के रूप में खाली निजी भूखंडों, सरकारी परिसरों और अन्य उपलब्ध भूमि का उपयोग करने की संभावना तलाशेगी। यह सोमवार शाम तक अपनी रिपोर्ट सौंपेगी, जबकि अधिकारी पंडालों तक जाने वाली सड़कों पर अतिक्रमण हटाने का अभियान भी चलाने की योजना बना रहे हैं।
