B.T. Arasakumar, arrested for allegedly collecting over ₹100 crore from private school administrators by promising government approvals, has been granted default bail by a special court in Chennai. प्राइवेट स्कूल एडमिनिस्ट्रेटर्स से सरकारी मंज़ूरी दिलाने का वादा करके ₹100 करोड़ से ज़्यादा की वसूली करने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार बी.टी. अरसकुमार को चेन्नई की एक विशेष अदालत ने डिफ़ॉल्ट ज़मानत दे दी है। अदालत ने कहा कि अरसकुमार को ज़मानत का वैधानिक अधिकार था क्योंकि जाँच एजेंसी तय 90 दिनों के अंदर अपनी अंतिम रिपोर्ट दाखिल करने में नाकाम रही। उन्हें 27 जून को गिरफ्तार किया गया था, और अदालत ने नोट किया कि रिपोर्ट के बिना 92 दिन बीत चुके थे।
