प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भुवनेश्वर में RBI के डेटा सेंटर और साइबर सुरक्षा प्रशिक्षण संस्थान का उद्घाटन किया। उन्होंने कहा कि ओडिशा भारत के टेक्नोलॉजी-संचालित विकास में अहम भूमिका निभा रहा है। मोदी ने कहा कि राज्य 'खानों से माइक्रोचिप्स' की ओर बढ़ रहा है, जिसमें सेमीकंडक्टर, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और डेटा सेंटर में निवेश बढ़ रहा है। मोदी ने जन धन योजना जैसी मौजूदा सरकारी पहलों की तुलना पिछली 'फोन बैंकिंग' प्रथाओं से की, जिनसे NPA हुए थे। उन्होंने तेजी से डिजिटल होती दुनिया में भारत की वित्तीय प्रणाली को साइबर खतरों से बचाने के महत्व पर जोर दिया।
