Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has projected fourth-quarter revenue to exceed estimates, driven by robust demand for its artificial intelligence chips. The company anticipates approximately $17 billion in revenue, surpassing analysts' average forecast of $16.23 billion. This positive outlook is supported by increasing demand for processors used in training and running AI models, bolstering AMD's position in the data-center market. AMD's third-quarter performance also showed significant growth, with data-center revenue nearly doubling year-on-year, indicating strong momentum in its AI initiatives.
