Sabarimala Shrine Opens Saturday For Thulam Puja; Chief Priest Draw Sunday

The Sabarimala temple is set to open on Saturday at 5 PM for the Thulam month puja. The draw to select the chief priests for the Lord Ayyappa and Malikappuram temples will take place on Sunday morning. The sanctum sanctorum will be opened by the chief priest in the presence of the head priest, followed by the lighting of the lamp. The shrine will be open for darshan from Sunday morning and will remain open on Mahanavami and Vijayadashami days for the first time in decades.
