Uttar Pradesh to establish digital libraries in 11,350 Gram Panchayats soon

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that his government is working to make villages the first unit of an self-reliant Uttar Pradesh, not the last step of development. He stated that since 2017, the government has focused on transparency and accountability in village governance, providing digital services through 57,600 Gram Sachivalayas. These initiatives have also created 5 to 7 employment opportunities in each village. Now, digital libraries are being set up in 11,350 Gram Panchayats across the state, furthering the vision of Gram Swaraj and self-reliance.
