ECI has ordered a comprehensive investigation into voter lists across Uttar Pradesh following allegations of irregularities in Pilibhit. The Congress party claimed that between July and September, 13,150 voters had their names changed despite having identical EPIC numbers. They also alleged the removal of 884 voters and the addition of 2,600 ineligible voters, totaling over 16,500 discrepancies.

ECI ने पीलीभीत में अनियमितताओं के आरोपों के बाद पूरे उत्तर प्रदेश में मतदाता सूचियों की व्यापक जांच के आदेश दिए हैं। कांग्रेस पार्टी ने दावा किया कि जुलाई और सितंबर के बीच, 13,150 मतदाताओं के नाम बदले गए, भले ही उनके EPIC नंबर समान थे। उन्होंने 884 मतदाताओं को हटाने और 2,600 अयोग्य मतदाताओं को जोड़ने का भी आरोप लगाया, जिसमें कुल 16,500 से अधिक विसंगतियां थीं।
