Kochi Corporation and BPCL-KR Clash Over Brahmapuram CBG Plant Performance

CBG plant's performance remains a point of dispute between Kochi Corporation and operator BPCL-KR, seven months after its commissioning. The Corporation cites frequent shutdowns and underperformance, while BPCL-KR blames the poor quality of waste supplied by the Corporation for breakdowns and capacity issues. Mayor V.K. Minimol acknowledged waste segregation problems but questioned the high reject quantities.
