GQG Partners Sells Adani Stakes Worth ₹8,000 Crore in Q3
Economic Times · stocks
US-based investment firm GQG Partners significantly reduced its holdings in Adani Group companies during the September quarter, divesting stakes valued at approximately ₹8,000 crore. This move occurred amidst mixed investment trends among foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) in the Adani conglomerate. While GQG reduced its exposure, overall FPI ownership saw increases in Adani Enterprises and Adani Ports, but declined in other group entities like Adani Power and Adani Green Energy. The firm's total holdings in Adani Group companies decreased from ₹47,290 crore to ₹39,270 crore by the end of September.
