Two CJP Members Sent to Tihar Jail Over Jantar Mantar Protest

Two members of the CJP, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, have been sent to Tihar Jail for five days of judicial custody following a protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. Ajinkya Shinde was released on a Rs 5,000 bond with a condition not to disturb peace for six months. Police stated the group entered Jantar Mantar via private property after it was recently de-notified as a protest site. Two FIRs have been registered against the 14 members involved for obstructing police duty and potentially disturbing public peace.

CJP के दो सदस्य, सौरव दास और आशुतोष रांका, दिल्ली के जंतर मंतर पर विरोध प्रदर्शन के बाद पांच दिनों की न्यायिक हिरासत में तिहाड़ जेल भेजे गए हैं। अजिंक्य शिंदे को 6 महीने तक शांति भंग न करने की शर्त पर 5,000 रुपये के बॉन्ड पर रिहा किया गया। पुलिस ने बताया कि हाल ही में विरोध स्थल के रूप में डी-नोटिफाई होने के बाद समूह ने निजी संपत्ति के माध्यम से जंतर मंतर में प्रवेश किया था। इसमें शामिल 14 सदस्यों के खिलाफ पुलिस ड्यूटी में बाधा डालने और सार्वजनिक शांति भंग करने की आशंका में दो FIR दर्ज की गई हैं।
