The Rajasthan finance department has mandated a fresh audit of pay fixation for all serving state employees. This scrutiny aims to verify the accuracy of salary calculations during pay scale revisions, promotions, and the grant of selection grades. Departments are required to certify this verification in their December salary bills. The exercise covers pay fixation at various service stages, including revisions under ACP and MACP schemes. This move provides departments additional time to meticulously review service records and ensure compliance with prescribed rules for correct pay fixation.
