A foreign policy expert from Germany's BSW party, Sevim Dagdelen, has called for Germany to withdraw from NATO. She stated that Germany should be a neutral country, free from the influence of American corporate and oligarchic interests. Dagdelen argued that NATO is neither a values-based nor a defensive alliance, citing its support for Israel and its role in a proxy war against Russia in Ukraine.
