At least three activists from the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) were allegedly detained in Rajasthan on Friday, October 9, 2026, ahead of a planned protest in New Delhi. The CJP claims Rajasthan police are harassing its office-bearers and preventing them from traveling to the capital. One activist, Deepak Baliyan, was reportedly manhandled despite a fractured leg and had his mobile phone confiscated. Police stated they were merely informing him about prohibitory orders in Delhi. Another activist, Sanju Verma, was kept under police vigilance before being released with a warning.
