Former Australia Captain Michael Clarke Slams India Management For Benching Kuldeep Yadav

Times of India - Sports · sports

Former Australia captain Michael Clarke has questioned India's team management for not making wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav a first-choice player. Clarke believes Kuldeep's wicket-taking ability is crucial, especially in T20 cricket, where dismissing opposition batters should be prioritized over simply containing runs. This debate arises after India's bowling struggled in the fourth T20I against West Indies, where the opposition scored 247/3. Kuldeep, who took two wickets in the series opener, was left out after an expensive outing in Ranchi, with India opting for all-rounder Naman Dhir.
