EPFO Plans Universal PF For Unorganised Sector

The Employees Provident Fund Organisation is developing a universal provident fund scheme to cover millions in the unorganised sector and self-employed individuals. This new self-financing plan will allow daily or annual contributions with tax benefits. The EPFO is studying global models to finalize the framework. This initiative aims to extend retirement savings to a much wider population beyond the current EPFO network, promoting financial security.

कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि संगठन (EPFO) असंगठित क्षेत्र के लाखों लोगों और स्वरोजगार करने वालों के लिए एक यूनिवर्सल प्रॉविडेंट फंड योजना बना रहा है। इस नई योजना में टैक्स छूट के साथ रोज़ाना या सालाना पैसे जमा करने की सुविधा होगी। EPFO दुनिया भर के मॉडलों का अध्ययन कर रहा है ताकि इसका ढांचा तय किया जा सके। इसका मकसद मौजूदा EPFO नेटवर्क से बाहर ज़्यादा से ज़्यादा लोगों को रिटायरमेंट सेविंग का फायदा पहुंचाना है।
