Varanasi Meat Ban During Navratri And Air Show

Varanasi has implemented a ban on the sale of meat and fish starting today, coinciding with the beginning of Shardiya Navratri. This restriction, issued by the Varanasi Municipal Corporation, will be in effect in two phases. The first phase covers the entire city during Navratri, while the second phase extends the ban on meat cutting and sale around Namo Ghat due to an upcoming Indian Air Force air show.

वाराणसी में आज से मांस और मछली की बिक्री पर रोक लगा दी गई है, जो शारदीय नवरात्रि की शुरुआत के साथ ही लागू हो गई है। वाराणसी नगर निगम द्वारा जारी इस प्रतिबंध को दो चरणों में लागू किया जाएगा। पहले चरण में नवरात्रि के दौरान पूरे शहर को कवर किया जाएगा, जबकि दूसरे चरण में आगामी भारतीय वायु सेना के एयर शो के कारण नमो घाट के आसपास मांस काटने और बिक्री पर रोक बढ़ाई जाएगी।
