This marks WWE's return to the United States for the prestigious event after its 2026 edition in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Arizona has previously hosted the Royal Rumble in 2013 and 2019, making this its third time hosting. The 2027 event is expected to feature the traditional men's and women's Royal Rumble matches.
