JEE Advanced: Over 12,000 Students Demand 3 Attempts Instead of 2

TV9 Hindi · education

Over 12,000 students have urged the Union Education Ministry and IIT Council to review the current rules for the JEE Advanced. They are requesting an increase from the current two attempts to three attempts to qualify for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology. The students argue that factors like medical emergencies, family situations, and exam stress can hinder preparation, making the two-attempt rule unfair. They propose either three direct attempts or two attempts within a three-year period.
