A two-day international seminar, REINSS 2026, focusing on digital soil intelligence and sustainable food security, commenced on Wednesday at the College of Agriculture, Vellayani. The event, themed 'Reinventing Soil Systems: Digital Intelligence, Biomes and Sustainable Food Security,' brings together scientists and agricultural experts. Himanshu Pathak, Director General of ICRISAT, inaugurated the seminar, which is organised by the Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry and the Indian Society of Soil Science.

डिजिटल मृदा बुद्धिमत्ता और सतत खाद्य सुरक्षा पर केंद्रित दो दिवसीय अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगोष्ठी, REINSS 2026, बुधवार को कॉलेज ऑफ एग्रीकल्चर, वेल्लायानी में शुरू हुई। 'रीइन्वेंटिंग सॉइल सिस्टम्स: डिजिटल इंटेलिजेंस, बायोम्स एंड सस्टेनेबल फूड सिक्योरिटी' विषय पर आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में वैज्ञानिक और कृषि विशेषज्ञ भाग ले रहे हैं। ICRISAT के महानिदेशक हिमांशु पाठक ने संगोष्ठी का उद्घाटन किया, जिसका आयोजन मृदा विज्ञान और कृषि रसायन विभाग और भारतीय मृदा विज्ञान सोसायटी द्वारा किया जा रहा है।
