SC Asks FSSAI For Food Label Design Details

The Supreme Court has directed the FSSAI to provide specific details on food warning labels, including their shape, size, color, and placement on packaging. The court also stressed the need to inform children about the risks of junk food. The FSSAI must respond to thirteen specific queries within ten days.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने FSSAI को खाने के पैकेट पर चेतावनी लेबल के बारे में पूरी जानकारी देने को कहा है। इसमें लेबल का आकार, रंग और कहाँ लगाया जाएगा, ये सब बताना होगा। कोर्ट ने कहा कि बच्चों को जंक फूड के खतरों के बारे में भी बताना ज़रूरी है। FSSAI को दस दिन के अंदर तेरह सवालों के जवाब देने होंगे।
