Court Orders Release of CJP Leaders Detained Ahead of Protest

A Delhi executive magistrate court ordered the release of Cockroach Janta Party leaders Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das, and Ashutosh Ranka on Sunday. They were detained on Saturday from an aircraft upon landing in Delhi, prior to a protest demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The court stipulated their release on the condition that they maintain peace and do not breach it for one year. YouTuber Dhruv Rathee was also released from Gurugram Police custody after being detained from his home.

दिल्ली की एक कार्यकारी मजिस्ट्रेट अदालत ने रविवार को कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) के नेताओं अभिजीत दीपके, सौरभ दास और आशुतोष रांका की रिहाई का आदेश दिया। उन्हें शनिवार को दिल्ली में उतरने वाले एक विमान से हिरासत में लिया गया था, इससे पहले कि वे मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग को लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन करते। अदालत ने उनकी रिहाई इस शर्त पर की है कि वे एक साल तक शांति बनाए रखेंगे और इसका उल्लंघन नहीं करेंगे। यूट्यूबर ध्रुव राठी को भी गुरुग्राम पुलिस की हिरासत से रिहा कर दिया गया, उन्हें उनके घर से हिरासत में लिया गया था।
